Our Home Health Aide Training (HHA) lasts for six weeks, or a total of 125 hours with 65 hours of classroom theory, 20 hours skills lab practicum and 40 hours of clinical practice. The training addresses the practical knowledge and skills essential to providing patients’ personal care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and home management. The HHA training prepares students to work in home health. However, employment opportunities in other clinical settings that utilize the skills of the HHA and in which the HHA qualify may be accessed.
